Fortunately, the resources and information here on IT Security Career are free. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the hardware, software, and services I rely on to run the site.
Instead of charging visitors for content or asking for donations, I rely on affiliate marketing to help me cover those costs.
If you click on an outbound link and sign up for a training program, purchase an infosec book, grab some pen testing tech, or pick up some geeky t-shirts or stickers, then those partners will send a little bit of cash my way, cash that helps me keep the site up and running.
I’m doing my best to find partners who offer products and services that folks like you are likely to find useful. My main goal is to keep adding resources to the site that will help aspiring infosec pros, and if I feel like one of my partners isn’t aligned with that same goal, then chances are they won’t be a partner for long.
